About the work:

This Consulting team is dedicated to making an integral contribution to the execution of the Firm’s strategy, the prosperity of its clients and commitment to the public interest.This involves carefully balancing practice protection and commercial imperatives by working collaboratively, and in close consultation, with teams within Consulting and across the firm.

Consulting is rapidly growing and expanding our portfolio in large, complex technology based advisory, delivery and managed services engagements. In addition to this we are seeing an increase in:

  • New products, services and innovations resulting from transactions as well as new business offerings from the existing practice
  • Sophisticated contracting and commercial models due to client contract terms and the nature of the services / products being delivered.
  • Regional and cross business collaboration.

Responsibilities:

This role advises senior stakeholders on maintaining the requisite level of quality on new business and on an existing portfolio of technology and advisory based opportunities and engagements spanning the entire engagement lifecycle.

Key activities include:

  • Strategic Business Partnering as it relates to practical, considered and timely advice to help the Consulting business
  • Actively advising on commercial, risk and quality related matters for priority opportunities – working with senior legal counsel and Partners.
  • Provision of advice to Consulting delivery teams including management and resolution of commercially related risks, issues and other concerns for priority engagements.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 7+ years of professional services experience and/or experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management.
  • Experience user of Microsoft desktop applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Passionate about clients, practical problem solving, recognising risk and identifying quality deliverables
