Part of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers, CSBP Fertilisers manufacture import and distribute fertilisers for the Western Australian agricultural sector and provide state-of-the-art AgTech solutions to support better fertiliser decisions.

The role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Fertiliser Services Manager to lead a team to develop and grow the adoption and acceptance of CSBP’s fertiliser suite of services which include NUlogic & the Decipher product range.

Reporting to the Business Manager, your advice, coaching and technical support will ensure the sales team, customers, agronomists and consultants are getting the best information they can to leverage CSBP Services and make the best decisions for their businesses. Your knowledge of agriculture systems and ongoing customer insight will help improve, optimise and shape current and future technologies being considered and developed in the services pipeline.

Responsibilities include:

  • To develop and manage the commercial strategy for CSBP Services
  • To lead and manage all of CSBP Services GIS (Global Information Services)
  • To seek new opportunities to grow the CSBP services business through the innovative use of existing and new technologies
  • Working closely with the Strategic Marketing Manager, develop marketing strategies & establish and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key industry bodies.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports and the CSBP sales team to create a culture of high performance, co-operation and improvement.
  • Prioritise your safety, and the safety of others in all practices
  • Champions/Drives a culture where safety is prioritised in all practices

Skills & experience:

This is an excellent career opportunity for a technology-savvy individual who has an agricultural science or agricultural business management background with demonstrated experience working and/or relationships with agriculture technology companies.

  • Precision agriculture and data management skills
  • Agricultural nutritional knowledge is desirable
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Sound analytical and planning skills
