Cooper Investors (CI) is a Melbourne-based fund manager established in 2001and 100% owned by its employees. We invest A$13 billion in Australian, Asian and international equities on behalf of our clients including large superannuation funds, religious institutions, State Government agencies, endowments, charities and high net worth families and individuals.

We have grown to over 40 employees and believe it is time to engage a professional human resources manager to support the growth and development of our highly engaged team.

Duties

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Manager will support CI’s strategic Talent Management initiatives and carry out ongoing HR management functions. Specific components of the role include:

  • Execution of our Talent Management and succession planning framework, incorporating training and development;
  • Ensure our Pay and Bonus levels and structure continue to be competitive and support the business strategy;
  • Develop a recruitment pipeline and process to allow us to attract, on-board and develop key talent;
  • Ongoing review of position descriptions and role expectations to evolve our performance management framework and processes;
  • Introduce and oversee wellness and related programs;
  • Act as a trusted contact point for staff on HR-related matters; and
  • Update and maintain HR policies and related training.
