Set on over a hectare of lush gardens, Ardency Aroona is a premium retirement Resort located in Yowie Bay that has paved the way for a unique retirement experience which combines the very best in independent living with the premium amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel.

Ardency Aroona is currently seeking a casual Concierge to join their family. Reporting to the Resort Manager you will be tasked with providing concierge service to the residents and guests of Ardency Aroona.

You will undertake concierge duties and responsibilities including responding to resident and guest enquiries and requests, building management responsibilities, assisting the restaurant team when required, and ensuring that a premium level of customer service is provided to our residents in every interaction.

To be successful, you will have a good knowledge of the Sutherland Shire and ideally have recent experience in the hospitality industry (eg. hotel) with administration skills, food and beverage skills, including barista skills, and a mature approach to your work. The Concierge team work on a 24/7 rotating roster including day and overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays. People with the flexibility to work varied shifts throughout the week are encouraged to apply and we would envisage this person being rostered for a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Additionally, you will be extremely well presented and reliable, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Most importantly you will be a passionate and customer focused individual with a strong work ethic. It is essential you hold a valid drivers’ licence and current certificates in First Aid, Safe Food Handling and Responsible Service of Alcohol would be highly regarded.
