ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Corporate Financial Services (CFS) is part of the Business & Private Banking (B&PB) business unit of the Commonwealth Bank.

The Social Impact & Specialised Industries banking unit consists of 7 sector teams - Not-for-Profit, Schools, Indigenous Business, Local Government, Healthcare, Retail and Professional Services.  These organisations are distinctly unique and require a tailored approach to marketing and offer development.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Executive Assistant (EA) to the General Manager Social Impact & Specialised Industries, you will provide support in the delivery of high level services to the General Manager, Social Impact & Specialised Industries, the banking teams and other stakeholders. 

This role would suit someone with extensive administrative experience, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and resourcefulness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • delivering exceptional service to line manager and teams through outstanding administrative skills
  • assisting the teams with administrative tasks where required, including travel, expenses, invoices, courier booking, recording travel, assisting with events, ordering stationery, mail and other ad hoc tasks
  • working alongside the business with integrity and trust to effectively implement the Social Impact & Specialised Industries' strategy
  • support with compiling and managing data bases
  • assist with the overflow of work from the Executive Assistant's office.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • A strong eye for detail and a 'Can do' attitude
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Strong PC literacy in all Microsoft software and the ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
