Payroll Analyst

Your Impact:

A key part of the Governance and Assurance team, you will perform ongoing analysis on our entitlement delivery across all the CBA entities using HR's world class technology solutions in order to ensure our employees are receiving their correct entitlements, and any discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.

You will also have exposure to opportunities to lead process and system improvement initiatives with key stakeholders.

The Payroll Analyst is required to maintain and build productive relationships with the following individuals: Assurance Lead, Head of Governance and Assurance, Head of People and Payroll Services, Business, System and other SMEs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Gather, organise and synthesize large amounts of information from various sources
  • Perform reporting and data extract from core HR systems (SAP and workday)
  • Translation of business requirements into rules to validate entitlement delivery
  • Build business requirements into functional specifications
  • Liaise with vendor for delivery of system changes for business requirements
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for system changes
  • Working with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns and the environment that they operate in

  • Excellent technical skills to extract, transform and map payroll data
  • Advanced experience with SAP payroll systems
  • Advanced experience of Spinifex reporting toolkit
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent consulting skills including the ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong business analysis skills with experience in delivering process improvements across functions
