Commonwealth Private’s vision is to excel at securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities across generations.

 Commonwealth Private offers personalised service and holistic advice for high net worth clients who have household income in excess of $400k p.a. or the intent to invest or borrow $2.5 million or more. We also have a Private Office service for clients with investible assets of $10 million or more.

The Strategy and Business Services team provides Commonwealth Private Bankers and Advisers with the strategy, client engagement channels, current banking advancements and appropriate risk mitigants to successfully service their clients.

The client experience and business development function is focused on enhancing all client touch points throughout their relationship with the business. It is our role to know our key client segments and seek ways to ensure their experience with Commonwealth Private is worthy of their advocacy. We analyse and report on our client satisfaction data, and use that information to engage our clients – often through events – to create strong relationships.

Do work that matters:

As the Manager Client Experience & Business Development, you will focus on three key pillars:

Client Analytics

  • The custodian of all client and client satisfaction analytics projects, you will provide advice on client satisfaction measures, and emerging issues, to enable customer-centric decision processes
  • Communicate and present analytical results and insights to senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with finance, data and analytics teams to generate reports and extracts for client analysis and identification of segment opportunities

Client Experience

  • Understand the Commonwealth Private business positioning, brand story and ensure our activity leverages this to its full effect
  • Engage with the team nationally to ensure consistent approach to client experience is taken across client segments
  • Take the Commonwealth Private  lead on the annual Business Banking client segmentation process
  • Work collaboratively with Group Marketing to deliver quarterly roadmap of activity
  • Be client centric, champion the best experience for clients and use design thinking approaches to deliver innovative and creative solutions

Business Development

  • Manage the build and maintenance of pitch builder and other pipeline platforms to support new to bank goals
  • Develop a prospect pipeline framework for our sales teams per client segment type.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in client analytics and/or strategic marketing
  • Experience in a financial services preferably in a high net worth
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, balanced with the ability to put ideas into practice
  • Proven capability to provide innovative and creative thinking
  • Have a continuous improvement mentality, always looking to ways to improve the experience and results
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, Advanced Excel VBA (Macros), Advanced pivot table manipulation skills, knowledge of advanced formulas and their usage
  • Business related degree
