We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Designer within our Sunshine Coast Infrastructure team due to a wealth of projects currently in progress and in the pipeline. This role provides an awesome long term career opportunity working with a fun group of people.

We are seeking an experienced 12d Civil Designer to join our team on a full time basis, working on some of the most highly regarded and high profile projects in Australia.  Reporting to our Senior Civil Designer, you will be producing accurate 12d designs and assisting with detailed drawings on civil works projects such as roads and highways, drainage, carparks and other infrastructure. 

Possessing either bachelor of civil engineering or a TAFE completed Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree, you will have a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all facets of our organisation and with our external stakeholders.

You will have:

  • A flexible and pragmatic approach to work
  • The ability to adapt and embrace change
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a civil designer using 12D and AutoCad on roads and highway design projects. TMR project experience is desirable.
  • Experience in producing conceptual and formal design drawings and managing drafting packages
  • Experience with 12d Drainage would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail for the production of accurate, detailed work
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to contribute to report writing and outputs
  • An organised approach with the potential to accept increased responsibility
