Talent Acquisition Manager 12 month contract

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager for a 12 month parental cover contract. Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Citi’s lateral recruiting efforts and leading a team of TA specialists to perform end to end recruitment execution of hiring across the franchise. You will also act a trusted partner and play an active role in recruiting for designated business groups and influence hiring decisions and recruitment strategies by applying business insights and deep expertise of the external talent market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all lateral recruitment activities and service delivery across the organisation (hiring requirements, reporting, sourcing, assessment, on boarding etc)
  • Supervise, coach and develop team of 3 TA specialists to increase productivity / efficiency and ensure the ongoing allocation of resources
  • Play a leading role in implementing new recruitment technologies including consistent usage of new harmonised recruitment processes and systems, ensure optimum usage and provide user support
  • Independently manage and resolve highly complex and variable issues involving the TA function
  • Manage and support the recruitment needs for a designated business group(s) including executive level positions and influence, define and execute winning recruitment strategies in partnership with Business and HR stakeholders  
  • Proactively attend relevant networking events, provide market intelligence regarding hiring trends as well as research competitive markets and peer organizations; able to pipeline for key positions
  • Support Citi in its future compatible focus by driving innovative and creative talent strategies, identifying non-traditional and diverse talent pools
  • Drive internal mobility & build diverse sourcing strategies with a strong focus on direct sourcing leveraging proactive and innovative recruitment tools & channels
  • Develop and manage relationships with executive search firms and recruitment agencies
  • Manage the partnership with the Regional Staffing Office to ensure effective delivery of temporary/contract recruitment requirements
  • Partner with Regional teams and HR Shared Services that support recruitment administrative activities to ensure operational optimisation and  efficiencies are achieved
  • Partner with the global and regional TA marketing & branding team and Corporate Affairs to support and drive best-in-class social media and branding initiatives
  • Track and analyze effectiveness of recruiting/marketing/branding efforts to ensure the best return on investments
  • Partner with colleagues across Asia Pacific and other regions to share best practices and ensure consistency and efficiency in execution.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are met and that internal recruiting policy and practices are executed
  • Drive delivery of a “best in class” experience for all candidates
  • Contribute more broadly to the HR team and take responsibility for TA/HR related projects

To be successful in this position you will need to following skills and experience:

  • Ideally minimum of 8 years in recruitment and/or recruitment management experience with exposure to and demonstrated competence in other functional areas
  • Experience managing a team and driving a strong performance culture
  • Degree holder is preferred
  • Demonstrated logical and methodological approach to problem solving
  • A proven track record of relevant talent acquisition experience
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and deliver to commitments against a defined strategy.
  • Data driven and analytical with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Strategic thinker with a creative, curious and innovative mindset
  • Proven track record of managing and influencing multiple senior stakeholders
  • Passionate about candidate experience and exceeding client expectations at all times
  • Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge and/or implementation experience of Workday recruitment module an advantage
