Senior Product Manager – multiple permanent and contract opportunities across the business

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and implementing instalment and balance transfer strategies to improve the performance and profitability of Citi’s existing Credit Card Portfolios.

 

Key accountabilities will include:

 

Portfolio Management

 

·         Work with Credit Risk, Decision Management and Digital to develop strategies to achieve targets relating to card lending performance including instalment sales and revenue.

·         Manage the deployment of new lending capability and lending enhancements to meet sales and revenue targets.

·         Develop and implement strategies to optimise product pricing and fees and implement changes to pricing and fee structures.

·         Conduct regular reviews to ensure that the operation of instalment and BT offerings is working to specification, meet our obligations within our terms and conditions and fulfil regulatory requirements.

·         Work with stakeholders to develop Instalment and BT campaigns that deliver on these strategies across all channels.

·         Develop and manage the Instalment and BT marketing budget and meet all reporting deadlines.

·         Manage the monthly accrual process, review budget vs actual, manage monthly variances and ensure ongoing optimisation of budget allocations.

·         Review and approve activity briefs and extract briefs outlining Instalment and BT campaigns including marketing strategy, target audience, creative execution, timing, pricing/offer, test objectives, projected profits and breakeven.

·         Manage the optimisation of digital and call centre response channels.

 

Risk and Stakeholder Management     

 

·         Work with Risk to develop strategies and tests that ensure risk policies are optimising balance growth and minimising loss rates

·         Work with Stakeholders to ensure risk based tests and new policies are rolled out. 

 

Partners Relationship Management

 

·         Work with the Partnerships team to ensure the objectives of Citibank and Partnerships are aligned and met.

·         Educate and inform Partners on the lending solutions we provide and how our lending capabilities can help achieve joint partnership objectives. 

 

Reporting and MIS

 

·         Work with Decision Management to analyse reporting across lending offers and ensure regular reviews are performed to drive targeting, pricing and communication strategies. Monthly results tracking for each campaign across channels and circulation of results to relevant stakeholders.

 

 Research and competitor analysis

·         Conduct Research to improve response rate and profitability of Instalment and BT offers and identify opportunities for alternative revenue streams and innovative offers.

 

People Management

 

·         Lead a team of Managers to deliver timely on campaigns and strategies and effectively on Card KPIs while maintaining high level of staff satisfaction.

·         Ensure performance discussions and development plans are conducted, identifying and address training requirements for team members.

 

Process Improvement

 

·         Identify and implement improvements to the lending propositions and sales processes.

 

 

 

Skills and experiences required:

 

·         Bachelor Degree in Commerce/Business or related discipline.

·         Extensive (5-8 years minimum) Product experience, preferably in the Finance industry.

·         Highly analytical with strong sense of financial acumen and full understanding of Credit Cards P&L.

·         Strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and leadership skills.

·         Strong communication, presentation and time management skills.

·         Highly results driven and self motivated individual.

·         Track record of excellent partner and vendor management.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office – advanced PowerPoint, word and excel.

·         People management experience.
