Strategic Intent

  • The Personal Banker role is phone based and works as part of a team focused on deepening customer relationships and increase overall product holdings to grow the Citi Gold and Citi Select client base
  • Onboard new clients and drive investment, mortgage and insurance referrals via various channels such as inbound calls, online enquiries, marketing initiatives and seminars
  • Refer potential Citigold and Citi Select clients to grow our wealth management business
  • This is an entry level role leading you to build a career in Wealth management

Key Accountabilities

  • Acquire and refer potential Citi Priority, Gold and Select clients
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for investments, mortgages and insurance and refer leads to the appropriate channels for follow up
  • Engage the support of specialists to provide technical advice to customers when necessary
  • Take full ownership of customer requests and proactively follow up agreed actions with stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for resolving issues with customer portfolios ensuring complete satisfaction of problem resolution
  • Keep up to date with new banking products and services; their features, benefits and how these can be best offered to the Citi Priority portfolio and potential Citigold and Select clients
  • Keep up to date with financial markets and Citibank investment structures
  • Meet and exceed assigned activity and sales targets
  • Actively utilise existing marketing campaigns and activities and where appropriate maintain a database of prospects for call-backs and updates on time specific offers
  • Comply with established bank and external policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality and security of bank and client assets and information
  • Maintain a high standard of accurate and error free work to avoid compliance breaches, including reduction and minimizing critical errors and write offs
  • Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct at all times
  • Action day-to-day operational and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Contribute to Retail Distribution operational efficiencies to enable Retail Distribution to achieve plan

Qualifications

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Degree in business or finance related subject is required
  • Diploma of Financial Planning is highly desirable or
  • Passion for financial markets
  • Interest in pursuing a career in wealth management
  • Phone Sales experience is preferable
  • Passionate and hungry individuals who strive in competitive environment
