Domestic Payables and Receivables Product Manager AU/NZ


POSITION SUMMARY
 
Reporting to the P&R Product Head, a Product Manager is an integral member of the highly specialised cash product team. The role of product management is essentially one of business management, and entails a number of accountabilities from: Product Maximisation, to develop and execute our product strategy, Business P&L Management, developing financial plans, forecasting and managing the P&L, Pre-Sales Support, providing subject matter expertise and Control and Franchise Management, understanding and mitigating risks to Citigroup.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Responsible for driving the strategy and roadmap throughout the product lifecycle for NPP
  • Facilitate commercialisation of the new product including migration of current payment flows on to NPP, ownership of communication plan, profitability analysis and execution of all compliance related requirements
  • Be the Industry representative and product expert for faster payments for Citi Australia.
  • Responsible for the overall Product Management of Domestic Payables and Receivables for AU & NZ
  • Responsible for the Profit/Loss of the Portfolio with defined revenue target
  • Responsible for bringing new solutions to the Australian market through the development of new products and product enhancements including financial modeling, business case development, sales & marketing strategy and hand-off to Implementation and Operations
  • Work closely with the Regional TTS Product Teams to review product portfolios and bring in new products from other markets.
  • Develop a strong working relationships with internal stakeholders  (RM, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Financial Control.) both at a local as well as regional level.
  • Ensure that all staff receive adequate training on the TTS products & solutions.
  • Responsible for audit and compliance requirements of the product portfolio, including maintenance of the appropriate Product Approval Programs.
  • Customer & market focused by providing sales & product support to all TTS  staff.
  • Oversight of product pricing and associated deal reviews
  • Oversight of outsourcing and vendor management for the portfolio

KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Knowledge of the banking & finance industry generally
  • Knowledge of Citi Payables & Receivables products
  • Knowledge of Citi TTS banking systems and technology platforms
  • Knowledge of client cash management/working capital needs
  • Product management skills
  • Financial analysis proficiency
  • Project management skills
  • Business case development and Business writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative, and ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks according to key accountabilities
