The Technical Analyst - Salesforce (SFDC) will ensure CBUS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provides exceptional customer experience across digital and guided channels through CRM SFDC platform, while balancing risk and regulatory requests.
This is a hands-on technology position that designs, develops, deploys and manages enterprise CRM Salesforce.com platform working as a part of the SFDC engineering team responsible for delivering personalized, consistent, and engaging customer experience to our Members, Employers and enterprise users via SFDC platform.
The role will be operating in a business that is experiencing accelerated growth in members, funds under management (FUM) and business size, scale and services delivered, where an emphasis on digital services, customer centricity and organisational excellence solutions is valued.

Accountabilities
 
The role is accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Serve as the business analyst for various development projects on the Salesforce platform.
  • Elicit business and functional requirements from primary stakeholders as well as document and analyze current and future state business process flows.
  • Partner with product owners to craft user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in support of agile delivery of technology solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform.
  • Preform dimensional fit / gap analysis between current and future state technology solutions to support acquisition programs and evaluate vendor solutions.
  • Develop data flow diagrams for integrations to reporting, finance and fulfillment applications that will support the technical design and build processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical leads and quality assurance leads to ensure effective cross-project communication and issue management.
  • Lead user acceptance testing by gathering test scenarios, developing scripts, triaging defects and capturing sign-off from stakeholders and project leads.
  • Collaborate with solution integrators and external consultants on technology projects throughout the duration of an implementation by reviewing and providing feedback on project artifacts, helping coordinate meetings with stakeholders and testing new functionality.
  • Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the system/software.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enable operational efficiency.
  • Partner with the Data Management and Analytics Teams to ensure technology solutions adhere to data quality requirements and meet stakeholder reporting objectives.
  • Transition all new technology solutions to the Production Operations and Support Teams.

 As a member of the Design Build and Implement Engineering team, you will share several common responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage production environments and contribute to instigating and resolving production support incidents contributing to war room type scenarios
  • Continuously contribute to the automation of Continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous operational monitoring processes
  • Contribute to manual testing and automation testing needs driving a TDD practice across the Design, Build and Implement Engineering team
  • Training and developing others within the wider Design Build and Implement Engineering team disseminating your knowledge and skills in relevant technology
  • Educating yourself on technical advances and the evolution of best practice in your respective disciplines
  • Adopt and implement innovative practices, tools, and frameworks to deliver better value.

Selection Criteria
 
Technical Capability

  • Bachelors or Master’s in applicable areas of study and/or 8+ years of related experience
  • Salesforce.com administrative experience is required (certified Admin or Developer is a plus).
  • Business systems analysis experience required.
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of multiple Salesforce.com products like Sales, Service, Financial, Community and Marketing clouds
  • Strong Access/Excel skills, SQL is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Must possess strong initiative and a get-it-done attitude.

  • Knowledge and understanding building APEX code/classes, triggers, integrations, Visualforce/ Lightning UI components, deploying AppExchange products
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems using integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, AJAX, RAML, JSON.

The following will also be highly regarded:
 

  • Salesforce certified - Administrator (inc. Advanced), Architect, Implementation Expert, App Builder, Developer
  • Experience in delivering Salesforce.com capability within large transformation programs
  • Experience in implementing Salesforce.com for a contact centre
  • Experience in driving Salesforce.com practice and adoption within an enterprise
  • Knowledge of Websites/portals, APIs/integrations, Data-Lake platforms or concepts

  • 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce.com technical / business analyst roles
