Senior Engineer - Salesforce (SFDC)


 
 
The Senior Engineer - Salesforce (SFDC) will ensure CBUS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provides an exceptional customer experience to our end users across digital and guided channels through the CRM SFDC platform, whilst ensuring we adhere to the highest regulatory and compliance standards

This is a hands-on technology position the where the Incumbent will design, develop, deploy and manage our enterprise CRM Salesforce.com platform. They will be apart of the SFDC engineering team, tasked to ensure we are delivering personalized, consistent and an engaging customer experience to our members, employers and enterprise users via SFDC platform.
 
The role will be operate in a business experiencing accelerated growth in members, funds under management (FUM) and business size, scale and services delivered, where an emphasis on digital services, customer centricity and organisational excellence solutions is valued.
 
They will also be responsible for:
 

  • Ensuring the design, development, implementation and maintenance of SFDC platform is sustainable and measurable
  • Monitor SFDC initiatives and priorities, ensuring practice standard meet business goals
  • Provide guidance on technical estimations and solution definition and detailing technical and non-functional requirements for assigned initiatives, enhancements and production issues
  • Contribute to Engineering practices, architectural decisions, system documentation, testing, peer reviews and successful product/platform releases
  • Maintain and manage production environments and contribute to instigating and resolving production support incidents
  • Continuously contribute to the automation of integration, deployment and operational monitoring processes
  • Ensure automation testing meet the needs of TDD practice across Design, Build and Implementation Engineering teams
  • Implement innovative practices, tools, and frameworks to deliver better value.
  • Train and develop others within the wider Design Build and Implementation Engineering team

 
 
To be successful you must have
 

  • A Bachelors or Master’s in an applicable area of study
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Salesforce.com application development roles
  • 3+ years’ experience in delivering Salesforce.com architecture and design roles
  • 2+ years’ experience in Salesforce.com Administration and configurations roles
  • Hands-on experience architecting, developing, and delivering full-cycle implementations of Salesforce.com as a Technical lead or Senior Developer
  • Hands-on advanced programming experience of Salesforce.com building APEX code/classes, triggers, integrations, Visualforce/ Lightning UI components, deploying AppExchange products
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems using integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, AJAX, RAML, JSON.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering solutions from business functional requirements to system/technical requirements across multiple Salesforce.com products like Sales, Service, Financial, Community and Marketing clouds.
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of modern DevOps practices including source control, build management (CI-CD), environment management, configuration management and administration within Salesforce.com context
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing highly available, fault-tolerant distributed cloud / SaaS service used by multiple business areas within a complex enterprise
  • experience in programming in Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Spring, Hibernate other similar technologies
  • Expertise in React JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js.
  • Experience working following agile practices using tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of security and performance considerations and approaches for online systems, and exposure to security and performance testing process
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, scalability, performance testing, load testing and functional automation testing services
  • Be a strong communicator, with good analytical, presentation & problem-solving skills
  • Have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, be results driven, strategic with a drive to learn
  • Possess an aptitude to learn front-end development.

The following will also be highly regarded:
 

  • Salesforce certified - Administrator (Inc. Advanced), Architect, Implementation Expert, App Builder, Developer
  • Experience delivering Salesforce.com capability within large transformation programs
  • Experience implementing Salesforce.com for a contact centre
  • Experience driving Salesforce.com practice and adoption within an enterprise
  • Knowledge of Websites/portals, APIs/integrations, Data-Lake platforms or concepts
