Senior Analyst, Responsible Investment

Cbus is in the process of expanding its Responsible Investment Team to include this newly created role focused on ESG integration.
This role will help shape and integrate responsible investment within our expanding direct investment capabilities and external fund managers. The Funds goal is for the systematic and explicit inclusion of ESG factors in financial analysis and into decision-making processes. Ultimately, the Fund aims to demonstrate best practice and value creation from integration.

You will be collaborating closely with the investments teams, lead responsible investment integration within Cbus direct investments, including ESG and SDGs. This includes identifying relevant best practice approaches, measurement, monitoring and continual improvement as well as support responsible investment integration within fund managers including development of due diligence processes and benchmarking existing managers in order to drive continual improvement (e.g. surveying managers approach to integration and setting targets); and Identify relevant ESG data and metrics to undertake ESG analysis within strategies and across portfolios;

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in financial and/or institutional investing with a good knowledge of financial tools and databases (BARRA, Bloomberg, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Factset, etc.) as well as current knowledge of financial market trends with demonstrated experience undertaking research and analysis on responsible investment issues. Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or another relevant business discipline and Post graduate or further education in a specialist area highly regarded.
