Scrum Master


 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to join Cbus Super on a 12 month maximum term contract to help support Product Owners, Scrum teams and Stakeholders across a large transformational program within a Cbus Super
 
The ideal candidate will have had experience working in Agile across large transformation programs and be comfortable working with large teams.
 
Other key responsibilities of the position will include
 
 

  • To coach and guide scrum teams to become self-organised and cross functional, and ensure effective stakeholder communications
  • Lead assigned major projects to ensure project objectives are achieved
  • Monitor and track sprint progress and identify any divergence from allocated tasks
  • Understand the product planning lifecycle and effectively collaborate with the Product Owner to assist with the product backlog
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly rituals are run effectively, efficiently and regularly
  • Proactively identify and clear organisational roadblocks and external interferences that may distract with the development and/or cross functional scrum team members
  • Identify and analyse people risks, and prepare risk mitigation plans
  • Support and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, other Scrum Masters and stakeholders

 
Key Requirements
 
 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum master
  • 3+ years’ experience in a relevant role within Software engineering or digital transformation space
  • Strong proficiency at drafting, variations and change requests and providing business briefs to support contractual claims
  • Proficiency across computer applications including database and spreadsheet software
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, and written and verbal communications
  • Strong demonstrable experience managing multiple scrum teams within a Software engineering or digital transformation space
  • Strong knowledge of multiple agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc and demonstrable experience in helping teams / organisations in adopt
  • Demonstrable ability to mentor, educate and drive the scrum team members and wider business SMEs and product owners on Agile practices
  • Must be an expert in using Jira and confluence
  • Organize and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
  • Oversee and manage project scope, schedule, ensuring timelines and deliverables support business goals
  • Good understanding or knowledge delivering on web technologies, integration platforms and public cloud infrastructure working within a similar role will be highly regarded
