Operations Consultant (Assurance)

The Role

As part of our internal growth we are looking for an Operations Consultant to join our team. The role supports the Administration Operation Team to maximise operational delivery and standards across the business, focussing primarily on the delivery controls and process improvement opportunities with our administration partner.

Accountabilities


  • Monitor and manage the internal assurance activities as directed by the Stream Lead, Administration Operations and/or Senior Operations Consultant (Assurance).
  • Involvement with the implementation of enhancements across all digital platforms ensuring there is minimal impact to Customer Experience.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through daily reviews and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the analysis and resolution of complex administrative/system issues through data analytics, including tracking and reporting as required.
  • Build existing internal and external relationships regarding the Administration Operations team’s functions and role.
  • Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of Fund Business Rules.
  • Involvement in the implementation of business initiatives driven from the business and strategic planning process.
  • Provide reporting on key activities and outcomes to relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Operational support provision to internal teams as required.
  • Ability to manage and implement data governance related initiatives.
  • Manage outbound communications (phone or written channels) to members and employers as required.
  • Management of incidents through the established Business Incident Management (BIM) forum.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business and/or IT related discipline or equivalent would be an advantage;
  • Demonstrated superannuation operational experience (minimum 3 years);
  • Proven experience in the Microsoft Office Suite would be advantageous;
  • Experience with SPLUNK, Confluence and JIRA systems would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of business problems, service delivery, change coordination challenges and business valued outcomes;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with third parties to drive the desired outcomes of the business;
  • Well developed written (and verbal) communication skills and an ability to produce high quality documents for a range of purposes and audiences will be highly regarded;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop productive internal and external relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyze complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats;
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and initiative;
  • General knowledge of the superannuation regulatory environment and familiarity with its regulators would be an advantage.

  • This is a full time 6 month maximum term position; however flexible working arrangements can be requested.
