Engineering Manager, Integration (MuleSoft)


We are continuing to grow here at Cbus and as a result we are seeking an Integrations Engineering Manager to join the team.  This role will see you responsible for the technical direction, design, development, implementation and maintenance of integrations solutions with MuleSoft
  
In this role you will closely partner with product owners and other business and technology leaders to provide technical leadership, collect requirements and drive consensus on scope and prioritisation for relevant digital roadmaps and strategies. You will also be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of analysts and developers and be happy to jump in and write code where required.
  
To be successful you will have completed a bachelor’s degree in technology with a minimum of 8 years’ experience leading, architecting, developing and delivering large-scale, high traffic API integrations/applications with internal and external applications using MuleSoft or similar technologies. You have a demonstrated experience creating detailed technical design specifications for new integrations and API led strategy and integration patterns and reuse. You will be proficient in designing Mule components - Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, ETLs, flows, MEL message modelling, routing, filtering, database, exception handling, API management. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience in Anypoint Connectors, Mule ESB templates, web service design using REST, ODATA, SOAP (with WSDL) and application design using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot or Hibernate.
  
Additionally, you will have an understanding of modern DevOps delivery practices and tools, including source control, automated code propagation, build management (CI-CD), environment management, configuration management within API services. Experience in capacity planning, scalability, performance testing, load testing and functional automation testing API services will be highly regarded.
  
Please note this is a 12-month maximum term contract, commencing January 2020
