Working across a suite of programs for Medibank Health Solutions (MHS) , you will be responsible for the development and execution of a business development strategy that supports the commercial growth of the programs in the external market. As the Business Development Manager you will lead all business development activities with external customers including but not limited to; government funders, hospitals and Private Health Insurers (PHI). Accountable for the business planning, financial modelling and contract implementation of new accounts you play a key role ensuring that CareComplete programs are promoted in accordance with clinical, financial, operational, contractual and reputational program objectives.

This role is perfect for you if you have a demonstrated passion for business development and managing customer relationships. You will have proven experience dealing with commercial issues and program-based services in the health care sector. You present as a self-motivated, results driven professional, with the ability to scope, develop and execute on business proposals.
Your excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to build relationships and commercial acumen will set you up for success in this role, as will proficiency with IT systems to prepare reports and presentations.
While not mandatory, project management and call centre experience and knowledge would be advantageous. Prior Health/ Human Service industry experience will be highly regarded, as will be a tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Education / Health Promotion or Clinical Disciplines.
