Duty Manager - Retail (Palmerston)

What you can expect to do:

As a part of the store's leadership team, you will provide additional sales floor supervision, particularly on weekends, to deliver a better service experience.

You will inspire the team to build an environment of continuous improvement and deliver results. Behind the scenes, you will handle operations such as inventory, safety and visual merchandising.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for those who are looking for a leadership career with flexibility. This role will suit you if you are a career driven student, parent returning to work or leader looking for Part Time Hours and would suit a candidate available to work weekends and / or week nights working 15 -25 hours per week.

You’ll need:

  • Experience leading teams of over 20 in a dynamic customer focused environment
  • Previous experience in big box retail or a multi-site leadership role in specialty retail
  • Ability to work within a progressive, fast paced retail environment
  • A friendly, informal and consultative style when working with others
  • A consistent record of driving service focused teams
  • The ability to support and lead change
  • A strong safety awareness
