Due to strategic plans to add value to our BIM & Digital Engineering service offering, we are seeking an experienced BIM/Digital Engineering Coordinator, to support our business in the next phase of our success story.

If you are an AEC professional and have the enthusiasm and experience of delivering BIM & Digital Engineering outcomes by applying new technologies, then this is the time to join Beca! This position is based in Melbourne, however travel both nationally and internationally may be required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the Coordination of BIM use across our Asia Pacific business
• Develop, implement and manage BIM processes across large or multiple projects
• Supporting our Digital Engineering team in providing business solutions through ‘Reality Capture’, ‘Building & Asset Information Management’ and ‘Virtual Reality’
• Utilising your expertise in 3D modelling with the use of multiple software systems including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ReCAP and various Autodesk products
• Extract, manipulate, validate and present model information as required for design coordination, project management, project controls, cost consulting & stakeholder engagement.
• Contributes to the development of processes, procedures, templates and model content for project delivery use across the business
• Conduct model federation, clash analysis, 4D time-lining & 5D costing outcomes on projects
• Providing delivery support on multiple key projects, offering innovative solutions, with an emphasis on quality, timely service and budget constraint
• Developing strong internal and external client relationships, and demonstrate your expertise in understanding our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations

Key Attributes:

• Ability to demonstrate experience in managing BIM processes on projects
• Experienced user of cloud-based collaboration platforms, such as BIM 360, BIM Track, Revizto, etc.
• Understanding in delivering and managing project data to industry standards
• Experience in BIM review software, such as Navisworks, Solibri, etc.
• Experience in various BIM authoring software packages (Revit is essential)
• Experience with facilitating workshops, writing formal reports and managing issue trackers
• Appreciation for automation and Innovation for systems and design processes
• Understanding current and emerging Digital Engineering skills in the areas of Coding, Virtual/Augmented Reality, engineering software integration, data analytics is advantageous
• Understanding and appreciation of BIM technologies for delivery information through asset life-cycle.
• Diploma in engineering, construction or architecture preferred
