Working in Third Party means being a part of a fast paced team, which is focussed on growing business in a sustainable manner through our broker and Introducer / referrer channels (both residential and business). In Third Party we view growing business and managing risk as equally important. This focus allows us to deliver the best possible customer outcomes, whilst making a significant contribution to the success of Bankwest.

As a Broker Development Manager, you will work closely with the Broker Support Manager and State Manager to build, develop and maintain excellent broker and aggregator relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to grow and maintain excellent relationships with key broker segments using various data sources and networks. 

  • Engage in regular meetings with external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.

  • Work closely with broker partners to review submission quality and conversion to enhance customer experience, adhere to responsible lending practices and ensure ethical behaviour.

  • Develop strong internal stakeholder relationships and collaborate on policy, process and product.

  • Provide education and training to brokers on Bankwest policy, process and products.

  • Respond to all enquiries promptly within an agreed timeframe.

Ideally you will have:

  • Proven track record of high performance.
  • Strong lending background and experience.
  • Evidence of superior customer service and focus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise.
  • Knowledge and Experience of the broker industry.
