We now have 3 vacancies for .Net Developers to join our team. You will sit in the Software Engineering team who are responsible for delivery software applications in Bankwest, including their Architecture, Design, Development, Testing, Releasing, Configuration, Support and Maintenance.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

As a .Net Developer you will be responsible for developing, automating, maintaining and supporting some of the key systems used within the Bank and across its group entities.

  • Design: Contributing to system design and principles.
  • Development:Deliver features within team sprints and adhering to team standards and norms.
  • Shape: Contribute to the platform direction.
  • Quality: Ensuring our product is the best it can be.
  • Support: Help other developers succeed using our service.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong .Net skillset.
  • Fullstack developer required to be able to work in C#, Javascript and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of DevOps/automation and working with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2 or 4, JQuery as well as Twitter Bootstrap.
  • Experience working in an Agile team, with changing priorities and tight feedback loops.
  • Focus and commitment to quality and delivering customer focused solutions.
  • Strong application security mindset and ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Desire to learn more about the tools you use and the problems you work on.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a collaborative and cross functional team including testers, business analysts, infrastructure services colleagues.
  • Focus and commitment to quality and delivering customer focused solutions

Desirable Competencies

  • Experience reviewing how other people have solved problems using code.
  • Experience working with Enterprises with ITIL process.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, SQL Plus and Stored Procedures.
  • Ability to guide and mentor others in developing effective and responsive UI.
  • Experience with Interaction Design and building UI in HTML5, TypeScript, Javascript and CSS3.
