Credit Analyst


We are currently looking for a Graduate Credit Analyst within our Property finance team.
This is an entry level role, looking for candidate who have 1 -2 years work experience.

The Credit Analyst role provides direct support to the Director & Associate Director. Credit Analyst will be expected to:

  • Prepare credit submissions.
  • Undertake complex financial analysis (drawing conclusions).
  • Maintain portfolio credit quality.
  • Undertake systems data entry into lending related systems such as BRGS, CMS, ROTE, etc.
  • Complete annual reviews.
  • Monitor loan covenant adherence.
  • Ensure all statutory & bank compliance requirements adhered to & maintained.
  • Provide general customer management & relationship support to clients.

The major challenge for this role is to provide support to the Director & Associate Director to provide portfolio customers with a high level of service, achieves portfolio financial targets within extremely complex & busy working environment.

  • Extend the position holder by requiring sustained, quality processing of moderate - complex lending applications within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Develop the position holder’s ability to assess & restructure moderate - complex level credit deals which do not fall within the standard lending policy with a view to weighting associated credit risk against proposed security position, pricing & debt serviceability.
  • Require the position holder to provide guidance & on the job training to junior members of the team.
  • Prioritising workload to meet urgency of customer demands & Service Level Agreements.
  • Assess information provided to process a moderate level lending application & determine when / if further information is required to complete the process.
  • Ensure that at each stage of a deal all procedures, documentation, fees etc are completed to a high-quality level.

The position holder will need to be a team player that is fully willing & able to take ownership of all tasks assigned to & generated by them. It is necessary that they be aware & focused on providing strong customer whilst maintaining a strong focus on meeting Service Level Agreements.
