About the role:

Our Buildings team in Melbourne is currently delivering some of Victoria’s most iconic projects. We are seeking to appoint a new Technical Director or Associate to provide a leadership role in our Building Services team who will help to drive project performance, technical eminence and develop strong, meaningful relationships with our clients.

The responsibility of the position will include:

  • Leading, developing and mentoring team members to ensure the continued success of our service offering
  • Collaborating with the Client Directors to ensure our Client and Work Winning Strategies are consistently implemented
  • Engaging regularly with the extended Buildings leadership team to facilitate strong collaboration and ensure we take the very best of Aurecon to all our Clients
  • Taking a Project Director role, maintaining accountability for project performance and client relationships

We are looking for a person with the following attributes:

  • Strong communication, relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working on buildings projects with expertise in building services engineering
  • Well-developed business and commercial acumen
  • Existing client relationships within the commercial buildings, education, health or data centre markets
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively across multi-discipline projects and geographic boundaries to create and promote a collaborative culture
  • Enthusiasm to undertake technical training and imparting knowledge to other engineers
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
