About the role:

Aurecon’s Land Infrastructure team is continuing their expansion to continually support our growing number of large scale Transport Infrastructure projects, Defence works and general civil/infrastructure projects.

To support this increasing workload, we are seeking to hire an experienced Surveyor on a 12 month, fixed term contract to take on key office and site based tasks.  The successful applicant will join a high performing team based out of our Docklands office in Melbourne and will involve travel, working remotely and independently on a mixture of on-site and office-based projects.

What the role will entail:

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes;

  • A strong background in managing surveying / spatial projects
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of professionals both in the office and field
  • Experience liaising and working with clients and stakeholders on projects
  • The ability to multi-task and work towards several objectives simultaneously
  • Experience on engineering and/or topographic surveys of Civil and Infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with the use of Leica Total Stations and GPS is preferred but not essential, together with the use of Liscad, 12D, MicroStation and AutoCAD.
  • Skills in Laser Scanning, 3D modelling or GIS would be advantageous
  • Ability to work as part of a tight and dedicated team
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a culture that prioritises safety
