Senior Safety Assurance Engineer

Our Neutral Bay office has a vacancy for talented Systems Assurance Engineers to join our Infrastructure group.  Applications welcome from midcareer to senior level candidates. 

You will play a pivotal role in systems assurance project support group, with focus on:

  • Systems Engineering and Assurance activities during project stages
  • Production of systems engineering and assurance management plans
  • Design integration
  • Requirements management
  • Design compliance with relevant technical and user requirements
  • Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) aspect of design and operations
  • Facilitation of risk assessments, risk controls and identification of risk controls
  • Production of Safety Assurance Reports and Safety Cases
  • Review of project delivery against systems assurance requirements
  • Coordination of design reviews, design verification and validation

About You

  • Relevant Electrical or Mechanical engineering background
  • Rail systems specification and design experience
  • Relevant design integration experience from rail projects
  • Good knowledge and experience of relevant national and international standards including EN50126
  • Interests in Human Factor assessments processes
  • Experience with rail infrastructure manager processes such as TfNSW, Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro or ARTC engineering processes and standards would be preferable.
