Senior Consultant, Infrastructure Advisory

We are investing in our Advisory capability based on our current committed projects and a healthy pipeline of opportunities. Our existing global team in Infrastructure Advisory comprises approximately 100 team members. We provide clients with a range of services including business cases, asset decision making and project advisory services.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our NSW Infrastructure Advisory team based in Sydney. This role will see you engaged in a range of activities, such as:

  • Identifying leads, developing relationships and closing consulting assignments
  • Providing solid project advisory services and helping the delivery of complex infrastructure projects
  • Leading and contributing to the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies and similar assessments
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and other written material for clients, either as part of a project, proposal, or marketing material
  • Actively participating in meetings and consultations with clients and internal workshops/meetings
  • Developing relationships with existing key clients and new clients based on your previous experience, and providing and expanding our services to meet their needs
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff

About You

  • This role is well suited to an engineer, project manager, economist or analyst with relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with at least 5 years’ experience
  • We are interested in hearing from those presenting with demonstrated skills to underpin their academic qualification(s) including: analytical, technical and strategic capabilities, a flair for effective communication, project management and a desire to work as part of a busy, vibrant team.
  • An understanding of economic or engineering techniques such as business case preparation, scenario modelling, cost benefit analysis, and economic impact modelling highly regarded.
  • Key to success in this role will be a strong interest in building a consulting team and the ability to communicate effectively with clients as well as across various levels of the business, in both written and verbal form.
