We are now looking for a Senior Building Sciences (Acoustics, Vibration, Wind, Air Quality, Thermal) Engineer to join our Adelaide based Building Sciences team.

You might be considering what the next step in your engineering career might be, but have limited opportunity in your current role.  Or you might be looking at a move to a more senior opportunity allowing you to deepen your existing client relationships.  Whatever your motivation, this opportunity with Aurecon will not disappoint.  Offering variety across the acoustics, air quality, vibration, and wind engineering disciplines and working on high profile local, national and international projects, you will be joining a team that applies the latest technologies to our ever-expanding client base.  In this role you will take on significant design responsibilities as well as playing a key part in developing new and strengthening existing client relationships.

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • A passion for Building Sciences engineering
  • Acoustics and/ or Air Quality experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally in Mechanical Engineering (5+ years industry experience)
  • A strong background and knowledge of environmental and/or building engineering design 
  • A desire to be challenged and introduce innovation and digital concepts to projects
  • Be comfortable in front of clients, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to lead and mentor others within a team
