About the role:

Our Adelaide Telecommunications division has been expanding throughout the last year.  As a part of this sustained growth, a new position has been created in our team for a Project Coordinator with a strong focus on providing financial support to the team.  You will be given the opportunity to work within a strong, supportive team whilst also contributing to the success of a range of medium & large scale projects. 

Typically, our Telco team works on projects spread throughout Australia and as such you may be called upon to provide project support to teams outside of Adelaide. 

The requirements of the position will include:

  • Providing high quality project accounting services to the project leaders within the delivery centre to enable improved project management and financial tracking
  • Drive the billing process and manage project working capital
  • Tracking of project performance against KPI's (internal and external requirements)
  • Preparation and presentation of reports for project financials, invoicing, debtors, budgets and resource utilisation
  • Daily updates of progress reports and web-based tracking toolkits
  • Assisting Project Leader's with compliance with Safety in Design & OH&S requirements
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills are essential

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced practitioner who has:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage the delivery of work for Adelaide based projects but also willing to connect with professionals interstate & overseas
  • Comfort and a willingness to grow the knowledge base of your projects teams to drive self sufficiency
  • Experience in construction contract / project management would be well regarded but not essential
