Program Controls Manager – Defence Estate Works Program

Our project team working with the Defence Estate Works Program Office is seeking a Program Controls Manager for our Program Delivery Services Team, working on a 6 year program of works across the entire Defence Estate.
This is a full time role and the Program Controls Manager will work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices and procedures in accordance with Aurecon’s business objectives. They will be expected to be able to lead and manage a diverse controls team that will be both co-located in the Program Management Office and also dispersed across most major Aurecon Offices in Australia in the Regional Delivery Teams.
The person/s nominated to provide these services will be required to hold (or obtain) an Australian Government security clearance.
The Program Controls Manager is responsible for managing the functional framework of Program and Project control and reporting for the Program and Teams. This includes establishing and maintaining the guidelines, procedures, processes and systems to be used on the overall Program, amending these from time to time to improve efficiency as required and rolling these out across the Program, with ongoing oversight of their use. It is imperative that the Program Controls Manager is able to engender a team environment in dispersed team and work collaboratively with other supporting functions and operate as an effective team manager.
