Portfolio / Programme Manager

Are you a senior portfolio professional with the drive and experience to win and deliver major projects in the consultant project management sector? Do you have a passion for working closely with internal and external clients to manage projects to successful completion?

With a continual focus on developing and growing an already busy division, we are now seeking to engage an experienced Programme Manager to further grow the business, deliver major projects and drive our Project Management business across our Perth Delivery Centre.

As a Portfolio Manager you will be required to:

  • Establish new client relationships and foster existing ones to contribute to a strong existing client portfolio
  • Apply a deep understanding of construction/architectural/engineering/project management principles to solve complex problems
  • Ensure work programmes are delivered to client timeframes and specifications
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with multiple clients across a diverse range of industries
  • Manage a number of projects from beginning to end, including tender submissions, cost estimates, project scheduling and risk management.
  • Be a leader within our team, willing to share knowledge and progress the careers of the younger members of the team

As an ideal candidate for this position you should possess:

  • The ability to maintain and build new and existing client relationships
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Project Management/Engineering or Architecture.
  • Credentials with the Australian Defence Force
  • Relevant experience in managing a portfolio of complex projects with a leading capability in the health, research, education and defence clients
  • Experience within a comparable client, consulting or building environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a diverse team
  • Advanced ability to plan, manage and deliver numerous projects simultaneously
