To support increasing demand for our specialist Advisory services we are inviting applications from technical specialists to assist Local and State Government clients in responding to civil infrastructure damage (predominately roads and bridges) caused by recent cyclone activity on Northern Australia. It is likely roles will be regionally based between Rockhampton and Cairns, with FIFO arrangements considered and assessed on an individual basis. Positions will be for a tenure of up to 12 months with an option to extend if necessary, however contractor or sub consultant arrangements will also be considered.

There are a number of roles to fill, with varying responsibilities including;

    • Senior Project Management of the full NDRRA process for clients
    • Field date collection of damaged infrastructure
    • NDRRA funding application preparation
    • Program/ Project management of funded works

Your qualifications and skills;

  • Professional Engineering qualifications essential
  • Previous experience in NDRRA disaster damage assessments or restoration project management highly desirable
  • Experience in infrastructure related projects – predominately roads and bridges
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and take responsibility for deliverables and deadlines
  • Good oral and written communications skills
