Hydraulic Designer

We are currently seeking a Hydraulics Designer to be responsible for the detailed delivery of design and documentation of Hydraulic Services for a diverse range of large scale and iconic projects. This is an ideal opportunity to expand on your existing skills and education and for personal and career development.

An example of our current projects include:

  • New Metro Stations designs
  • Sydney Trains station upgrades (TfNSW)
  • Defence Work
  • Data Centres
  • Heavy rail projects

Key tasks include:

  • Preparation of drawings, calculations, reports and technical specifications,
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders, authorities, project management, architectural and other engineering disciplines,
  • Conduct site inspections,
  • Work effectively within a team,
  • Develop and contribute to the overall success of the business.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Need to be an Australian citizen
  • Possess previous experience in hydraulics design and construction administration duties,
  • Be currently enrolled in or have completed the Associate Diploma of Hydraulic Services or higher degree qualification (but not essential),
  • Have a sound knowledge of relevant Australian standards,
  • Ability to build strong relationships and to work in a team environment,
  • AutoCAD or Revit skills will be well regarded.
  • Ability to lead multi-discipline projects will be well regarded
