Digital Specialist – Transport Mobility Solutions

As Digital Specialist you will work in close alignment with our NSW region’s Digital Practice Leader to ensure Aurecon’s projects are delivered in accordance with the firm’s Digital Strategy. This role will also be responsible for finding and integrating new technology in the Transport Planning space within the wider transport planning network within Aurecon.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will focus on integrating digital and transport planning/engineering and form part of driving potential opportunities inside and outside the business.  Key responsibilities to include:

  • Responsible for the oversight and coordination of their Unit’s digital delivery capability
  • Develop close ties within the tech industry
  • Implement Global Digital Strategy at project level
  • Work to Aurecon Digital Work Plans
  • Implement Global Digital Strategy at project level
  • Managing a team of developers and software specialists to bring new practices and process into the business
  • Project Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Project Client, Contractor & Partner engagement
    • Business Support Services (IT, Digital Ops etc.)
    • Project Leads and Delivery Teams

About You:

This role is ideally suited to someone with proven technical skills in project delivery and digital modelling &/or information management.  Key skills and qualities sought include:

  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience ideally underpinned by relevant qualifications
  • Software development with a design background.
  • Start-up environment and entrepreneurial experience highly valued
  • Strong working knowledge of and ability to apply relevant industry codes, standards and use a relevant quality system
  • Well-honed communication and team working skills
  • Demonstrable ability to use your initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise and to actively participate within a team
  • Ability to delegate tasks within a workgroup
  • Proactively seek professional development opportunities
  • An active participant in demonstrating the Aurecon Values and Behaviours
