About the role:

At Aurecon we are on an innovation journey to transform the way that we engage with our communities and our clients. Digital is a key part of our organisational strategy and is core to the way we engage with our staff, clients & communities. Our Infrastructure division is expanding their Digital capabilities and as such are after a Business Analyst to join the Infrastructure Digital Market Leader to help improve the way we work and deliver projects, but also to gain insights on future trends and where the market may be heading.

The role will involve you working across three core areas. 

  • Firstly, to develop our Digital Roadmap, understanding how we should be working collaboratively to digitise infrastructure and how technology can enable that transition. 
  • Secondly, to look both internally and externally to Aurecon to understand opportunities to improve on our existing capabilities. 
  • Thirdly, how do we socialise the how to our teams and the external market and use our insights to better inform our clients and future partners.

Our team operate in a constantly evolving environment and this means that the scope of work to be delivered will naturally evolve over time, providing the opportunity to engage in a fun and rapidly evolving future ready space.

What we are looking for:

The key attributes & outcomes of the successful candidate will include:

  • Demonstrated ability to engage at all levels;
  • Displays strong partnering characterises, including being trustworthy, approachable, dependable and diligent;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write succinct reports;
  • Effective coordination and prioritisation skills;
  • Comfortable to work in an ever changing, dynamic environment
  • Exposure to strategic planning;
  • Ability to understand complex information quickly;
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, and make recommendations for improvement
  • A desire to learn and grow in the area of ‘the asset lifecycle’ and ‘Digital’

Ideally you’d present with a tertiary level technical qualification with a strong background in project management, with a flair for succinct written communication and the ability to review existing work structures and undertake process mapping exercises.
