Senior Analyst, Superannuation Strategic Insights


APRA is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Superannuation Strategic Insights team within the Risk and Data Analytics Division. As part of the team you will provide forward-looking analytics and insights, driving risk-based supervisory judgements and strategic decisions.

You will play a key role in shaping the delivery of data-driven, high-quality industry insights and advice to APRA’s senior executive, superannuation supervisors, risk specialists and other Government bodies.

You will work closely with senior specialists across APRA to identify emerging risks and formulate and prioritise key initiatives in response. You will also collaborate with a wide range of APRA staff and industry stakeholders, and have an opportunity to contribute to significant projects that will impact the super industry.

The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of superannuation and investments combined with a strong background in analytical areas such as finance, economics, actuarial studies or mathematics. You will have excellent problem solving ability along with strong written and verbal communication. Excellent organisational skills along with strong project and priority management are essential and a history of working in high performing teams will be highly regarded.
