About The Role

As a Technology Area Lead for Workplace, you will be accountable for creating and managing the next generation of workplace for ANZ. This is a key leadership position in our Employee Experience domain, that will own a commitment to delivering excellent customer service outcomes first and foremost. You will have had significant experience leading major foundational programs across an enterprise (similar to Office 365). You will also have had similar experience leading Workplace technology Tribes, with squads providing the day to day enablement and life cycle management of physical hardware and software employees are issues with and use, including laptops, handheld devices, meeting room devices, phones and printers.


In the role of a Technology Area Lead, you will be accountable for enabling the Group Technology Strategy objectives to deliver on your Tribe’s purpose. You will be relentless in breaking down barriers and removing roadblocks that impact your area’s ability to deliver. With employee experience at the heart of everything you do, you will drive IT and innovation.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own the evolution of integrating Communications (voice, meeting space, etc.), Messaging (Outlook, Email clients, etc.) and Services (Intranet, content, collaboration services and social)
  • You will also have experience aligning with enterprise strategic vision and roadmaps, developing and driving the strategy and business outcomes, while delivering on CX, BX and EX needs
  • Responsible for managing platforms and delivery squads, and how they interact with other technology systems, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, well-supported and stable and that capacity planning is managed effectively.
  • Managing the full ecosystem of the technology area, including the effective partnership with external vendors and providers and leveraging the full capabilities of our global Technology workforce
  • Ensure that you create a service that is integrated, relevant, transparent and easy to consume

 
About You

You will ideally bring the following key attributes, capabilities, and experience:

  • Extensive experience leading large cross-functional, agile or continuous delivery teams, including experience with DevOps, managing to a budget and cross-team prioritisation
  • Strong experience managing run components of a shared platform, managing the asset lifecycle, IT Platforms and how they interact with our core systems, ensuring they remain fit for purpose, well-supported and stable and that capacity planning is managed effectively
  • Deep understanding of vendor management, ITaaS and architecture
  • Great with people and know how to build and maintain relationships. You’ll be able to facilitate, communicate and negotiate with ease
  • A continuous and pragmatic problem solver. Enjoy creating order from chaos
