This position is based in the Business Automation & Integration Domain reporting to the Tech Area Lead – Automation. Our purpose is to provide the intelligent automation platform and services that optimises our business processes through artificial intelligence and robotics to provide radically simpler customer experiences and banking processes execution.


We will radically simplify the customer and banker experience through the automation and simplification of key banking processes


As the Solution Designer, Automation (Tech Area Architect) you will define the architecture for a Technology Area, plan the architectural runway to support upcoming sprints, design/evaluate solutions and provide technical expertise to squads. You will be working across the multi-disciplinary Tribe that are based across 3 of our international hubs.


Your day to day role will include assessing ideas considering value proposition, possible solution options across the full stack (app service, infrastructure and data base), and Identify architecturally significant epics and collaboratively define the Solution Overview within the Technology Area.

What you bring to the Business Automation & Integration Domain:

First and foremost we’re looking for a Solution Designer who has worked within a global enterprise function and is driven by innovation and wanting to use technology in new and exciting ways. From here you will bring:

Deep PEGA or similar platform knowledge to define architectural standards, DevOps engineering principles and technology roadmaps that meet business needs.

  • Understanding of the technology stack in depth, including applications within and outside the Domain
  • Deep understanding of BPMS, cloud native nature of process centric applications, case management and process analytics principles and best practices.
  • Strong skills in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs (current and future)
  • Good communicator and problem solver that can understand and translate business needs into strategic technology roadmaps and architectural principles
  • Understanding of business drivers, direction and flow on technology impacts
