The Mission

 

The purpose Consumer Cards and Personal Loans (CCPL) Tribe is to Deliver best in class customer experiences & operational excellence for credit cards & personal lending seamlessly & reliably every time

 

As a Senior Manager Operational Excellence Products, you will bring domain knowledge or deep expertise on CCPL and develop this expertise and T-shaped capability in your chapter members. Along with Product Owners and coaches, Chapter Leads care for and nurture the growth of their chapter members to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy. Chapter Leads are not full-time managers, they work as a squad member for 60% of their time and manage people (across squads) for 40% of their time.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to leading the Well Managed chapter with a mandate to accelerate the improvement of processes, controls, governance / monitoring activities and operational health and risk management practices.

  • Strong collaboration with the business and partnering to develop effective operational risk, audit and regulatory compliance management solutions
  • Using analytical insights and identifying opportunities to better balance risk with customer propositions
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and seek to continuously improve processes and products
  • Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision maker

You will also have the following specialised skills:

  • Hands-on expertise with experience in risk/ audit and regulatory compliance, coupled with banking & finance industry knowledge.       
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing risk and compliance frameworks across large complex organisations               

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity. Internally, this role is referred to as a Journey Expert Chapter Lead.

Interviews will be held in Jan 2019.
