About The Role
Role Location: 833 Collins St. Docklands, Melbourne, VIC
Role Type: 12 month fixed term contract

As a Payroll Business Analyst, you will ensure that payroll outcomes for ANZ are optimised & compliant against local regulatory requirements and ANZ policy. You will work closely with Payroll and HR to ensure payroll is compliant, effective & efficient.

You will be responsible for documenting payroll standards and work instructions and implementing them across the bank; monitoring that the delivery against Payroll Standards are effective,  efficient  and  fully compliant against Legislative & ANZ Policy requirements; and supporting payroll projects and the wider payroll governance team.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Deep knowledge & understanding of end to end payroll process & practices, including tax, remuneration & Employee Relations.
  • Strong experience in delivery of payrolls.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, and influencing them to achieve business goals.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the need to mitigate business operational risks in line with established risk management and compliance frameworks.
