Communications Manager


  • Develop communication plans to support the delivery of business and project objectives.

  • Deliver and, at times, lead integrated communication project that protects and enhances ANZ’s reputation

  • Facilitate a collaborative communication approach by working closely with other communications teams and Corporate Affairs



About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: 12 month fixed term contract

 

As a Communications Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated (internal and external) communications plans and programmes to support a strategically important business project. You will provide support and advice on intra-project communications, such as monthly town halls and updates, and people change. You will deliver strategic communications to the division and rest of bank, as well as customers and vendors where required.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Ability to produce, consult and follow through on significant communications plans and strategies

  • Ability to work collaboratively to build integrated (internal and external) communications plans

  • Makes sound and timely decisions and demonstrates reliability and calmness in high-pressure situations

  • Build relationships in a collaborative manner, coaches and supports others

  • Commercial thinker, able to demonstrate in-depth customer insight and act on opportunities

  • Strong writing, problem solving, planning and stakeholder management skills

  • Able to make the complex simple
