About The Role

Role Location: ANZ Armidale - b/206 Beardy Street, Armidale NSW 2350

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

Shift Schedule: Standard working hours, 40 hours per week

The Assistant Manager role is an integral part of business service proposition. The incumbent will assist the Relationship Manager to develop sustained business growth whilst maintaining sound risk management to ensure that a quality portfolio is maintained. To maximise returns to the group, the position will require a close working relationship with our product specialists.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

  • Relevant banking and Agri-business experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and understanding of the structuring of security arrangements
  • Solid credit analysis skills, and passion for a career path working on targets
  • Lifting customer satisfaction by contributing in customer meetings and gaining a clear understanding of their needs
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills including strong interpersonal skills - confidence, professionalism and integrity and strong sense of accountability.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Lending experience will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification within finance or banking preferred
