Analyst, Workflow and Automation


Your Mission
 
The Fraud Collection and Workflow Tribe purpose is to protect customers from fraud, support them during financial difficulty and facilitate the efficient movement of work and information across the Bank.
 
Workflow and automation tech area provides the technology platform and services that optimizes our business process management (workflow) and enable robotic process automation to provide radically simpler customer experiences and banking process execution.
 
As an Analyst, you will have a deep understanding of the business environment to refine requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of solutions being built by the squad.
 
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the business and its customer related drivers as well as the technical systems that support the business. As an Analyst it is expected that you will be go-to person for solving problems in your Domain of expertise.

What does a 'day in the life' look like?

  • Partnering with the Product Owner to validate requirements and priority and ensure alignment to value
  • Partnering with the Product Owner, Engineers and other people in your Squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of User Stories
  • Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad
  • Leveraging tools for optimal collaboration (across geographies) and knowledge sharing
  • Implementing a collaborative culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
  • Creating estimates and continuously reviewing demand within the individual Squads
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis
  • Providing ongoing support for the platform as required e.g. problem / incident management
  • Optimising workflow management to ensure traceability back to strategic alignment
  • Verifying and validating what is in production (especially after changes)

 
What you bring to the Fraud Collection and Workflow Tribe?
Existing technical & functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Experience in one or more Analyst roles previously, e.g. System Analyst and/or Business Analyst.
  • Deep domain and system knowledge to turn customer needs into business requirements and workable technology outcomes
  • Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer & banker experiences
  • Affinity with coaching & empowering others towards the delivery of shared outcomes
  • A desire to continuously learn new techniques / technologies and bring innovative ideas into the squad
  • Previous experience of work working in an agile environment is desirable
  • Previous experience in workflow and process automation technologies like Pega®, OpenSpan, Automation Anywhere, etc.
