Wholesale Markets Risk Counterparty Onboarding


We currently have an opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to join the Wholesale Markets Risk Team.

Wholesale Markets Risk team is primarily responsible for implementing risk management and control processes to act as an effective second line of defence to manage risk from Wholesale Markets’ (Front Office) activities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Assess counterparty credit worthiness on an ongoing basis and assess contract measures to mitigate credit risk exposures
  • Negotiate International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) Master Agreements with Wholesale Markets and Treasury Counterparties and own the process for maintaining these agreements
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all Wholesale Market commodities including market structures and operations as well as industry contract developments
  • Perform Know Your Client checks on new counterparties to ensure compliance with Anti-money Laundering and other relevant regulations
  • Ensure that appropriate controls are in place to capture non-standard deals and their administration requirements

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience within a Credit Risk role
  • Ability to review and assess financial statements
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills; engaging, influencing and building relationships
  • Proven ability to drive collaborative outcomes across cross-functional groups
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
