About the Role

AGL Energy is seeking a skilled and experience Senior Portfolio Analyst to support our Customer Market’s Technology (CMT) portfolio of work, providing governance support, transparency and insight

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide expert advice and implement best practice processes and controls to effectively deliver a complex portfolio of work
  • Support, monitor and report on governance activities, ensuring alignment to divisional strategic goals and organisational governance frameworks
  • Setup quality assurance controls and implement tools and operational processes, in alignment with applicable frameworks
  • Coach teams in the application of governance practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Prepare and continuously improve on portfolio reports & presentations for senior management and stakeholders

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience in a senior analyst role at-least at a program level or multiple projects simultaneously, including demonstrable ability to critically analyse information and produce reports and presentations for a senior audience
  • A passion in proactively building internal relationships, providing a valuable support service and be a good team player
  • Experience with different project management methodologies and frameworks (Agile, SAFe, Lean, Prince2)
  • Significant experience in PMO governance processes including status reporting, capacity planning and financial insights
  • Ability to apply quality assurance controls including reporting, support, coaching and troubleshooting
