About the Role

The Senior Developer in the API Platform Team is responsible for developing platform components and tools to serve development, testing, monitoring and maintaining production workloads within the focus area of the API Platform Team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and mentor the team members within the API platform team
  • Develop effective cloud infrastructure, enforcing good architectural principles, providing technical oversight, and ensuring security best practices are implemented and followed by development teams
  • Build effective API strategy using API best practices and API concepts/technologies such as REST, OAuth2, OpenAPI
  • Develop Applications using C# in .Net Core environment and build CI/CD pipelines on Azure Dev Ops
  • Plan, document, implement, and maintain automated processes related to Azure resources (Serverless, PaaS, SaaS, API Management, AKS)
  • Work with other development teams at AGL to drive integration with API Platform

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Proven expertise in the following technologies: C#, .Net Core, Web API, Continuous Integration using Azure DevOps
  • Solid skills on deploying and managing cloud services hosted in Microsoft Azure at scale: Web Apps, Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault
  • Cloud automation experience using ARM, PowerShell
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile teams working in Microservices based architecture
  • OAuth2 practical experience, Docker, Kubernetes experience is a plus
  • Ability to readily handle production support issues, and effectively troubleshoot and communicate with development teams
