About the Role

The Knowledge Manager is responsible for the creation, ongoing development, improvement and maintenance of the Group Operations Management System (currently called the Group Operations Handbook) which contains policies, standards, procedures and supporting documentation across Group Operations for the safe reliable delivery of energy for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Design and deliver a Management Operating System and Document Management System to meet the needs of AGL Group Operations
  • Complete desktop review of current Group Operations Handbook content to identify current state issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Integrate and migrate the Group Operations Management System into the AGL Enterprise library (AEL)
  • Facilitate and collaborate with business unit (BU) stakeholders to ensure the system is fit for purpose and effective
  • Develop audit tools with the Asset Assurance Team to improve compliance with Group Operations policies and standards
  • Manage controlled document workflows for all system content and initiate use of OpenText controlled document workflows
  • Communicate and promote the Group Operations Management System for all users
  • Collaborate with the Competency and Development Team to ensure users have skills and capabilities to access and navigate the system
  • Develop and report KPIs on system maturity, performance and compliance

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Experience in design and implementation of management operating systems and document management systems for heavy, mining, energy or continuous process industries
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across multiple Business Units in a corporate environment
  • Experience in managing and improving document/information management systems
  • Proficiency in using systems such as SharePoint, OpenText or other DMS platforms
