Events and Communication Coordinator


We are seeking an Events and Marketing Administrator to join the connectnow team based in our Melbourne CBD Head Office. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the end to end planning, coordination and delivery of national internal and external events

You will utilize your outstanding organizational and communication skills while working closely with key corporate partners (such as Real Estate Brands) and support in business and marketing communications

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and manage business approach to events including management of the national event calendar, with a focus on real estate partners and corporate events
  • Coordinate all events, end to end. Events vary in size, effort and investment which also include larger scale industry events
  • Liaise and communicate with Real Estate Partners and Event Organizers on the coordination and execution of events and conferences to maximize investment and outcomes for the business
  • Organize required conference assets, collateral and event delivery, set-up and pack down i.e. Trade display booths
  • Evaluate the performance of events by analyzing and interpreting metrics and event objectives
  • Assess partner sponsorships, conferences, and events to ensure alignment to business objectives
  • Ensure conference/event assets, distribution and merchandise is within budget
  • Prepare event, business and marketing communications and briefs for internal and external stakeholders as required

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to multitask against shifting priorities
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A customer centric approach to all tasks and decisions
  • Ability to independently and be self motivated
  • Previous marketing or event management experience would be well regarded
