Digital Service Product Owner


Having just released our new mobile app platform, the Digital team are now looking to add exciting new features and capability to create a great customer experience and drive up digital engagement across our customer base.

As a member of the broader Digital Service team, you’ll work with stakeholders across the business to help define the product roadmap and execute on the delivery of innovative new features.

This is a great chance to come on board and contribute to our customer journey by delivering new capability!

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Own and define the vision and roadmap for our mobile app which align with our customer needs and business objectives.
  • Investigate new product ideas and innovations to provide an improved customer experience.
  • Work with scrum teams to deliver new initiatives, enhancements and features.
  • Prioritise and maintain the product backlog based on desirability, viability and feasibility for the development teams.
  • Design, prototype, develop and test new product features and initiatives in collaboration with user experience and customer journey teams.
  • Track and report on success metrics for newly launched product features to provide timely updates on the progress of new initiatives.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Digital product management experience - Mobile application and/or energy industry experience will be looked upon favorably.
  • The ability to identify new customer requirements and develop these into a product roadmap and feature backlog whilst working in an agile environment.
  • Experience leading a scrum team to deliver new features and enhancements to mobile applications or other digital assets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • The ability to use digital analytics to understand customer behavior and make data driven decisions to increase customer engagement and digital usage.
  • Experience with project management tools e.g. Jira, Confluence.
